With a mere single-stop exposure loss, it is the solution for today’s popular low-light shooting, while providing polarizer efficiency that is magnitudes better than linear polarizers. With the 1-Stop Circular Pol, glare and reflections are minimized while full color saturation remains, minus any of the inconsistencies of linear polarizers. Quantum to Showcase Power of StorNext Platform in Driving Media Workflows of Tomorrow at NAB

Quantum's NAB booth (SL8416) will showcase the power of the StorNext platform across the media life cycle, with stations dedicated to production, delivery and archive workflows, as well as content management. The booth will also feature several first-time demonstrations, including how Quantum hybrid flash and disk storage combines frame-based animation creation with stream-based editing in the same storage system. What are you most excited to see at this year's NAB show?

I’m most excited about the market's transition towards IP production. To be able to build an end-to-end live production system using COTS equipment like network switches while still maintaining the performance and operational practices of today's SDI environments represents a revolutionary shift for the broadcast and production community. IP-based production systems are now a practical, flexible and cost-effective solution and so much progress has been made in this area over the last few years. At the Sony booth, we will have an IP Pavilion showing all of our offerings integrated with solutions built by our 3rd party partners. This will highlight practical implementations for an IP Live Production System using products that are available for purchase today.
