Eric Achtmann, Executive Chairman & Co-Founder, V-Nova, talks showcasing the V-Nova PERSEUS™ 4K/UHD contribution solution, as well as the new OTT SDK at NAB Show 2016.

What are you most excited to see at this year's NAB show?
This is only the second year that we will be attending NAB Show as V-Nova. Things have moved very quickly since our public launch last April 1 and we are very excited about the future. Foremost, we look forward to live 4K/UHD use cases, as we strongly believe that 2016 is the year 4K/UHD will “come into its own” across broadcast and OTT. We are also curious to see how far High Dynamic Range (HDR) has evolved since last year, and how advanced operator rollout plans are.
Exterity Demos ArtioSign & AvediaServer at NAB 2016

Mike Allan, CTO at Exterity, talks ArtioSign, launched at ISE in February, and the latest version of the AvediaServer, showcased at CABSAT a few weeks ago, which will both be demoed at NAB booth (#SU11905CM).

What are you most excited to see at this year’s NAB Show?
We’re excited to see all the efforts driven towards AV/IT convergence and the promise of video everywhere. AV/IT convergence is an industry collision that has and will continue to open doors for many different types of organisations looking to integrate video into their unified communications systems. We’re particularly looking forward to seeing and learning what others are doing in these areas.
Simplestream to Showcase Media Hub Technology for Telecommunications Operators at NAB 2016

Simplestream, a leading provider of multi-platform live streaming and catch-up TV services to broadcast and media companies, will join the Amazon Web Services booth at NAB 2016. Commercial Director, Simplestream, Dan Finch, answers a few questions about the products Simplestream will be showing off at the show.

What are you most excited to see at this year's NAB show?
Consumers are increasingly demanding greater flexibility in how, where and when they watch video content, and this is driving significant change across the TV and media industry. Last year, Deloitte reported that streaming video online overtook live programming as the viewing method-of-choice for US consumers, highlighting the need for traditional media providers to extend their reach through digital distribution. NAB provides the ideal format to focus the discussion on the opportunities arising from this converged broadcast and OTT landscape. We are excited to be a part of this conversation, and are most looking forward to meeting emerging and established content providers and distributors across sports, media and entertainment, who are interested in maximizing their reach through live streaming, TVEverywhere and live-to-VOD services.
